Spyndle is a B2B content and AI visibility agency based in British Columbia, Canada. We place citation-grade guest articles on third-party publications so that AI search engines recommend our clients’ brands. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to spyndle.co and any related services we operate.

1. What we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Name and email address (when you sign up for a webinar, request an audit, or fill out a contact form)
- Company name, job title, and website URL
- Messages and enquiries you send us
- Billing details (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card numbers)
Information collected automatically:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time on site, and referral source
- Ad interaction data via the Meta/Facebook pixel
2. How we collect it
- Contact and lead capture forms on our website and landing pages
- Webinar registration through eWebinar
- The Meta pixel on our site and on eWebinar registration pages
- Email communication when you reply to our outreach
- Google Analytics and similar analytics tools
- Cookies (see Section 5)
3. How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services you’ve requested
- To send you the webinar you registered for and any follow-up resources
- To send marketing emails about Spyndle’s services (opt out any time)
- To run and optimise paid advertising, including Meta retargeting
- To improve our website, content, and services
- To fulfil contractual obligations with active clients
- To comply with legal requirements
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train AI models.
4. Sharing your data
We share data only where necessary to operate our business. Third-party tools with access to personal data include:
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising and conversion tracking
- eWebinar — webinar registration and delivery
- Google Analytics — website analytics
- Apollo / Clay — outbound prospecting and lead enrichment (business contact data only)
- ManyRequests — client portal and service delivery
- Stripe or similar — billing and invoicing
- Email service provider — transactional and marketing emails
None of these providers are authorised to use your data for their own marketing.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Spyndle and its clients.
5. Cookies and tracking
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function. Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site (Google Analytics).
- Advertising cookies — the Meta pixel tracks ad interactions and conversion events to measure campaign performance and serve relevant ads.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling advertising cookies won’t stop you seeing ads — they’ll just be less relevant.
6. Data retention
- Lead and contact data: up to 3 years from last contact
- Client data: 7 years after contract end (accounting and legal requirements)
- Analytics data: per tool defaults (typically 14 months for Google Analytics)
- Email opt-out records: indefinitely, to honour your preferences
You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link in every email)
- Request your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@spyndle.co. We’ll respond within 30 days.
If you’re in the EU or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you’re in Canada, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is completely secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@spyndle.co.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated by email to active clients and subscribers.
